when I upload a folder named config in the root of the site I can't access the contents of that folder can't be seen on the internet.

When I go to in my example http://www.egmondaandekust.info/config I am redirected to the control panel.

Is that by design? More important.. can I change that?

Regards,

Richard

It's an alias so it's not that important. It just forwards /config to :2222

Doesn't seem to be such a problem to quote out the part in the /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf

#Start DirectAdmin Settings
Alias /config /var/www/html/redirect.php
Alias /phpMyAdmin /var/www/html/phpMyAdmin/
Alias /phpmyadmin /var/www/html/phpMyAdmin/
Alias /webmail /var/www/html/webmail/
Alias /squirrelmail /var/www/html/squirrelmail/

The part of /config could just be quoted out with # in front of it ;)
