Configure FTP for write-only

We're having a hard time configuring ProFTPd as an anonymous FTP server, that allows write-only (upload) access. We're very security conscious and don't want to allow it to authenticate unix user logins so we avoid issues like dictionary attacks.

Does anyone have a recommendation of what we do?


Is there another FTP package that works with DirectAdmin if ProFTPd can't do this?

This might be able to be done using .ftaccess files which are similar to apache's .htaccess files. You'd have to confirm this with the proftpd manual.
