In the default Enhanced skin, when I click on "Password" in the main horizontal navigation. I can change the main password for "DirectAdmin Account" and "Main FTP Account" and "Main Database Account".

What confuses me is the "Main Database Account". Because it looks to me like it does nothing? Wich database password is it supposed to change?

I am confused about both the end user acounts, and the DirectAdmin admin user account.

For the end user accounts, there for sure is not any "Main Database Account", so what would the password for this checkbox change then?

Also, for the DirectAdmin "admin" user account, it looks like there is not any changes to any database account when I tick this box.

Is it only me that don't understand this? Please see the attachment image, it is from the demo login at directadmin.com

The main database account would be the end users login to mysql. Its not associated to any database in particular.

No, it can't be that. Because there is no "main database" for any users. They must first create a database themself. If there is already any database for a user, none of the passwords for any of those databases changes when they tick the box on the image.

Nothing happens.

Its not about a database. Its about your mysql user. You can login to phpmyadmin or mysql with your login and password that works with directadmin.

Ok. But when I ticket the check box on the image using my DirectAdmin "admin" user account, it did not change the "da_admin" user login at phpmyadmin, it was still using the same password as before. I have not tested it with a regular user.
