Connect to website by ip rather than domain

I'm preparing to move a website from a cpanel server to a directadmin server but before I repoint the domain to my new DA server, I first want to make sure everything on the DA server is working properly. Is there a way to connect to my website setup on DA before repointing the domain? With cpanel you can just do http://youriphere/~username and it will take you to the account setup with the username, is there something like this with DA?

Yes, it's exactly the same as cpanel.

http://youriphere/~username

This will take you to your default domain in your account. If you want to see other domains in your account you have to change the default domain to the one you want to see.
