Hi All,

I have freshly installed DirectAdmin on a server with AlmaLinux release 8.4 (Electric Cheetah), after that did a directadmin install. Now if i want to create a new domain at user level (logged in as admin) i got this error:

Either your request was invalid or the program hasn't completed your request.
Please notify the server admin

I have looked into different posts on the forum but can't find any solution. When i create a normal user the problem doesn't appear.

Anyone a idea?

I have found the problem and someone mentioned it before here: https://forum.directadmin.com/threa...ng-directadmin-the-ipv6-1-is-the-issue.64346/

If we set the IPv6 option to 0 the problem is solved.

There was no issue in the previous version before 1.62. So they added a 3rd party API call to determine your server public IP address. I'm not sure what is so important to depend on the 3rd party call. DA can do this on its own. So what will happen if the 3rd party website is down, then directadmin system will have trouble too.

Actually if you want to enable ipv6=1, you need to make sure that IPv6 is fully working (I notice the new installation detected that I have IPv6 entries in OS level and it just enable ipv6=1 without knowing that they are not yet reachable)
