I've always used WHM but DA looks alot more cleaner.

One thing is causing me a little confusion:

Lets say I am in the admin level and I want to create a single domain hosting account (not a reseller). Since there is no option to do that in the admin level, do I need to create a reseller account and then create the domain?

Hi, I had this problem when I first started using DA. The answer to your question is YES.

After you create yourself as an admin, you also need to create yourself as a reseller. It doesn't matter if you become a reseller or not, you just need to do this (a DA ruleset).

The username should be different from the username you used as admin. It will ask you for a domain name, and this wil become your main domain. This reseller username becomes your username at the user level as well.

It's quite confusing at first, but once you understand the DA rules, it becomes easier.

No. You don't.

The admin account has three levels:
admin
reseller
user

The method of getting between the levels changes depending on which skin you're using.

With the enhanced skin, you click on RESELLER down the left side.

You can create your packages and users there.
