Could not edit file content in FTP program?

Hello,

I have just got a small issue when I edited a file content on my FTP program (Cute FTP software), I couldn't save file, and when CMOD it to 777 then it showed a File transfer log box below
Request denied.

Please verify that the file or folder exists and that you have the necessary permissions on the server to perform the requested operation.

What cause this problem and how to solve it?

but when I used filezilla with root account then I could edit file content and saved it.

Anyone has got the same problem? can let me know why?

Try to use CB2: mod_php + mod_ruid2 to avoid issues with files permissions.
