CPAN auto or manual config

During DA setup it asks if I want to automatically or manually config CPAN. The default is manually. I don't know what CPAN is so should I choose auto?

CPAN is for perl modules. Setting to auto is fine.

Its probably default so people can choose their own settings the way they want it.

I figured... thanks. using the autoconfigure seemed to work just fine.
