cpanel migration issues

Ok, I've been migrating 30+ cpanel accounts to DA. 29 worked fine, but on one of them I got a strange error:

• pigz: abort: write error on <stdout> (No space left on device)
• tar: /home/tmp/cpanelimport4171348560/user.admin.ch3rstor.tar.gz: Wrote only 8192 of 10240 bytes
• tar: Child returned status 28
• tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now
• Unable to create DirectAdmin backup /home/tmp/cpanelimport4171348560/user.admin.username.tar.gz. Exiting...

The problem here is simple - /home/tmp has 100G free space. /tmp (although separate) has 20G.
Why is it telling my no space on drive? /var for he DB has 500G available.
This is such a cryptic message, can anyone offer any guidance here??

Maybe it has to do with Inode Exhaustion or Quota Limits?

neither - I was able to run the manual commands -
backup via cpanel package on the old server
restore via "Restore" directly from inside DA
WHen doing it that way, it worked. But doing it with the "Cpanel Import" inside of DA and having it do everything automatic - it just kept erroring out.

Weird.
