Create nameservers at registar

Hello,

When you create nameserver at registar how long does it take to resolve? I use noip registar if that helps

Most ICANN registrars update to the central registry as often as every 20 minutes, but propagation around the world may take 24-48 hours.

I use no-ip for as registar and I got this reply :


You must have the hosts defined in DNS. Since you have the Basic service for xxx.com you won't be able to create ns1. and ns2.xxx.com with different IP addresses.


That means I have to pay for their plus package to just setup the ns1&ns2 ? Every register doesn't offer that for free ? There was an option to specify two name servers and two ip addreses.

I know that 1and1 doesn't offer nameserver registration at all, but other than them every registrar I know offers it for free.

Generally all registrars permit adding two IPs for nameservers. I'd suggest to transfer domain to another registrar with one year renewal - this will be the cheapest way to solve your issue. Please, ensure you have such a possibility at a new registrar
