Hi guys, i want to do this:
I have a domain called cds.org.mx and i want to create a subdomain calle: registro.cdmx.cds.org.mx and redirect it to another domain called scemex.net

Currently i do that but it only works with http://registro.cdmx.cds.org.mx and not work with https://registro.cdmx.cds.org.mx because the letsencrypt ssl not works for that kind of suddomain.

Is there any way to do that?

Another option that i checked is to create registro.cdmx.cds.org.mx as normal domain and then redirect it to scemex.net, but i want to do 32 subdomains for each mex state (My license only allow me up to 20 domains).
If i purchase a multi subomain ssl cert it will work for all the subdomains of cds.org.mx?
I'm not consider the option of change directadmin license from 20 domains.
I wait for your advice.
Thanks in advance
*Domains are example domain names

My friend, i have some questions:
Its neccesary to enable that options 1, 2 and 3?
If i want to use the wildcard do o ned tro press the green button, trigger retry?
Thanks in advance

Button 1 is a choice if you want automatich redirect to your site in https. I would use that, but it's a choice.

As you can read, subdomains will be ignored if a wildcard is used, so no need to enable option 2.
For 3, are you going to use pointers then? If not, then do not enable. As far as I know that is also not required for pointers but if you want to use pointers you can enable it. It will be ignored if not required with wildcard.

Thank you for reply, my final doubt is:
How many subdomain levels does the letsencrypt cert allow?

You're welcome.

How many subdomain levels does the letsencrypt cert allow?
You can read that here, they can explain that better than me as I'm not native English.
