Creating a CNAME record to offsite location (SOLVED)
I have been trying to create a CNAME that will point to a different location. For example gmail.mydomain.com would take me to gmail.com now that is not the actual entry that I want to use for my purposes but that is the exact example.
So for CNAME record I enter:
Name Type Value
gmail CNAME gmail.com.
I hope I am missing something becuase this is not working for some odd reason. Thank you for any help you can provide me on this.
EDIT:
I am also the admin so I have full administrative capabilities. I have made sure that I am enabled for dns control.

My feeble little mind tends to lean twoards instant gratification whenever possible it is in my nature. Hope someone else can bennefit from my mistake. lol
