creating emails through mysql (interface in php?) ?

Hello, I'm not sure if this belongs in the email portion or here.. but i thought i post it here as well

Is there a way to create email accounts, alises, without going throught he online inteface of direct admin ?

This is for a new website we're doing and we want to be able to manupulate the email userids/accounts that we have in directadmin. Is that data available through some other way so we can let users of our website have an account created immediately without us having to login via control panel ?? Please let me know.
