Cron Jobs, to copy data between to hard drives

Can someone please tell me how to create a cron job, to copy data from one hard disk to another.

Simple enough. You can copy with cp or tar (see the man commands for both).

You don't say if you're doing this as admin or as an end user.

If you're doing it as an admin you can create cronjobs as root (man crontab); otherwise you'll need someone with root access to do that for you, or at least set up an account for you on the other hard drive so you can do everything as your username.
