cURL not being updated / managed by CB

Hi. A question. I have one VPS running on Apache+NginX and one on Litespeed. They both have CB installed and cURL.

The litespeed VPS has cURL version: 7.29.0 (OLD!!) - And it is not actively updated through CustomBuild.

The Apache VPS has version: 7.85.0 installed and this one is actively updated by CustomBuild.

How can I add cURL to CustomBuild so it can be updated through the interface as well?

Hello,

Custombuild dropped support of cURL. You should update it with a help of a package manager of your OS.

it's not old. It alway patch security fixed directly from source. But no more feature update.

As of Version 1.645 DirectAdmin/CustomBuild no longer installs cURL from sources. It offers an installation of cURL from OS repository.

yum update curl

has no newer updates available (than 7.29.0).

You might use a 3rd-party repository with newer cURL. That's up to you to find which repository offers it. I don't have such an information.
