Custom 404 error page not showing on subdomains

Hello,

One of our clients has created his custom 404 error page and it works correctly on his main domain. But whenever a 404 error happens on his subdomains the default 404 error page appears instead of his custom error page.

Does anyone know why this would be happening? The webserver is nginx_apache.

The most common reason for this is that the SSL certificate you have does not cover www for your subdomain.

To fix this, go to your Client Area -> Websites and open the Site Tools for your website. Go to Security -> SSL Manager, choose your subdomain from the Select Domain dropdown and select Let's Encrypt in the Select SSL field. Click on the Get button and allow some time for the new SSL to be issued. After that your subdomain will be accessible via https.
