Scenario:-
I am currently using a reseller account for making up my own account creations to host my many domains, I do not have admin access to
the server.
Basically I need a way to create multiple domains/users in an automated fashion, I have several hundred domain names that need hosting packages creating, and doing them one by one manually, is "doing my head in", and wasting my time. They will all be created using the same 'package'. I would like to have a script that gathers the... (domain names and corresponding user id's and passwords imported from a text file or preferably a .csv/.xls file and process them in bulk creating user accounts automatically, one after another.
I would also like to have set; a default email address, default catch all
email, default email forwarder, and default site redirection for every
newly created user/domain, this too could be part of the imported data from the external file. If no data is included for any given domain from this section, then just the default setup is added.
This script/app needs to be able to be run from a webpage/website address not connected to the reseller account. I'd also like (hopefully) to have a small .exe application made to do exactly the same job, but from my home PC.
I know that all the component parts are available from the directadmin API help pages, but i dont have a clue how to integrate them into one package or amke them work.
Is this possible? Can anyone help?
