Hey there

I'm wondering if there is a option that "Ability to add your own package items" Future can be limited to a user-level

let's say I want only the Admin, when he creates Reseller that he would have an option of some checkbox, but only him, so the option will not be shown in reseller-level , so reseller won't by mistake use this option when create simple user.

I want to option to be displayed only in the "Create Reseller" PAGE

is there any solution? without chaning the skins in the reseller level and deleting the custom_item_1 .. ?

I'm still not sure what you mean. Probably an ESL (English as Second Language) issue.

Do you mean you want the admin to limit whether or not a reseller can allow resellers to customize packages? If not, please be a bit more specific. I'm not sure what you mean. Where is this Ability to add your own package items?

I'm sorry for my bad explaination..

Let me try again, Let's say I want to give the Admin an option to let the Reseller himself(Only him, not his users) some option.

I want to let the admin when he create/modify the Reseller to check a checkbox that sets if he have this extra-option.

the Ability to add your own package items is related to: http://www.directadmin.com/features.php?id=479

When I add to:
/usr/local/directadmin/data/admin/custom_package_items.conf

a example:

MyPlugin=type=checkbox&string=My Plugin&desc=Able to use my plugin&checked=yes

Everyone see it, admins and resellers.
I want it to be an option only in the "Create Reseller" PAGE. cause option is related only to resellers and not for regular users. so there is no point to let resellers to check this box when they create users.

Any idea's?

So this thread really doesn't belong in this Scripting / API subforum?

Should it be added as a feature request? (No need to repost; I can move it; just let me know by a reply here).

I'm not sure.. though maybe somebody found a solution for this issue.

Anyway, if there is no option to do so.. I guess IT IS a Feature request ;)
