Hello all,
I am seriously considering moving around 700 email accounts from a hosting which uses a propietary control panel to another one with DA. With the old hosting, all the email accounts are as follows:
E-mail address: [email protected]
POP3 server name: pop.hosted-domain.com
SMTP: smtp.hosted-domain.com
POP3 Username: aa0001 (for example, the system always use two letters and 4 numbers as standard usernames for configuring email clients).
Password: Anything.
I think DA always use as pop3 username the account name or the complete email address (in the example before, "username" or "[email protected]), but are there any way to change that and assign a customized pop3 username to aa0001?. It would simplify changing current emails addresses a lot and i could change email hosting in a transparent way to all the current users. If it is not possible, i should reconfigure all the email clients manually in order to specify the new login name, and i obviously would like to avoid that
Regards.
