DA Admin questions

I have a customer that is looking at getting DA for his server. He is wondering how easy, or if it is even possible to do the following :

1) Install MTA's from the control panel
2) Easy configuration options for said MTA
3) Control panel to install packages (such as clamav, apache, etc)


I have done the demo, but it is very limited in what it can do/show.

Any information you can give would be great.

1) Install MTA's from the control panel

DirectAdmin is tightly integrated with Exim. If you attempt to make it work with any other mail server you'll have big job ahead of you, and no support.

2) Easy configuration options for said MTA

Not applicable.

3) Control panel to install packages (such as clamav, apache, etc)

No. DirectAdmin installs many packages, but notClamAV.

DirectAdmin, similarly to many other hosting control panels, presumes much, and installs and configures much.
