DA apachedirlog issue

hello

I have issue with root partition filled up with log, so i went to set DA apachelogdir in DA conf option set to another partition couple days ago.
apachelogdir=

but when i check my root partition running out space and i found that the log files still filled to the old dir(/var/log/httpd/domains)
if i check the /var/log/httpd/domains/domain.tld.log it is fill up with today log.

if i check the new log dir /home/var_log/httpd/domains only few domains are listed. i have thousand user domains, but in new dir log only 10 listed.
How its possible they filled in different dir in the same date time and still write in old dir?
How to force DA/apache write all domains log to new dir?
Are we safe to delete the old log dir?

Any suggestion and explanation are very appreciate, thank you..

just move needed dir where you have enough space and use symlink
