DA Boxes w/ Barracuda Spam Firewall [input]

now with 12 boxes , spam is becoming a major problem and i like to act fast.

is anyone have input about Barracuda Spam Firewall with DA ?
 
Hello,

We are using it and it is a fantastic equipment. It works great. What you need is simply:
1. Create an A record for your barracuda appliance
2. Change the MX record of your domain name to point to barracuda
3. Add the domain name and the IP so barracuda can forward the emails that have been filtered. It's amazing how many spam emails that get filtered everyday once you use it. You will like it :)
 
I just filled out the request for a trial unit.

Seems expensive, though, if you have plenty of mailboxes, and we do.

For us, it is better to purchase rather than building one. The reason is because we need a fast solution and we have no room for mistake. Barracuda Networks is specialized in this so rather than hiring R&D and additional developers, it will be more cost effective to just get one from them which is our current situation right now. :)
 
The gent from Barracuda Networks called me back today.

I decided a solution large enough for us would be too expensive. Your milege may very well vary.
