DA client transfer to new server

Recently moved my existing DA hosting clients to a new DA server. The move went well but I have a user with a problem . . .

She has two domains but can't retrieve email from her default POP account on her second domain name - the second domain name is an add-on domain on the same account.

She CAN retrieve her default POP email on her default domain.

Default domain POP3 accounts:
[email protected] - retreiving OK
[email protected] - retreiving OK

Second domain POP3 accounts:
[email protected] - NOT retrieving.

She's certain she has the correct passwords/mail servers/username settings but get's this error from outlook:

There was a problem logging onto your mail server. Your Password was rejected. Account: 'Ventrium Admin', Server: '69.**.***.***, Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR Bad login', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92

Thought this might be a bad password login but she's using the right one!



Could there have been a problem with the transfer from one DA box to another? Any known issues? How can i fix this?

you will need to verify under /etc/virtual/her_domain.com/ that their is a matching entry in both the aliases file and the passwd file. Be sure to make a backup of either file before manually modifying it.
