DA installation problem

I have completely installed DA in my CentOS4.4 linux server.

However once I check the directadmin status, it shows me the following:

directadmin dead but pid file exists

P.S. there is not listen port on 2222 when i run netstat -l

how can I solve it? I really need the DA today, please help me

If it's not running you're not going to get an answer on port 2222.

You should check the DirectAdmin log at /var/log/directadmin/error.log to see why your DA won't run.

If it's something you can't do, then you should get in touch with DA support staff.
