Installation is the same. If you want Redhat alike (like you now have Centos), then you can install Almalinux 9, works great and most of us are using it.
If you want to use a Debian alike, then you can use Debian or Ubuntu. It's just a choice. Ease of installation is not depending on the OS, it's as easy on every OS. So it's the choice which one you would like to use. Debian a bit more stable than Ubuntu.
Almalinux more stable than Centos Stream.
Debian and alike work with apt as package manager, Alma with yum/dnf.
Only difference is that with Debian and alikes, if you want to do full OS upgrades, for example from Debian 9 to Debian 10, it's supported by the OS package manager. With Alma you need an external too. Also works good, but again... it's a choice.
But for installation it does not matter, the one is not easier or faster than the other.
