Hello,

i've got a lot of VPS users, using directadmin, but they do not need their own DNS. So i was thinking of setting up MultiServer, so zones transfer to my own DNS on a machine elsewhere running directadmin. But there's something bothering me. As i see i need to insert the user and password (admin?) for this to work. Is it really safe to insert the admin password to some clients DA? I guess its encrypted, or is it? But there's still a way to regain that password and that would mean he could gain access to my main machine.

The password is probably not encrypted, but I'm not positive.

We use Master2Slave DNS Replicator (search these forums); it doesn't require passwords.
