DA New Account Creation ?'s

I have a question about when you create a new account in DA. I am still trying to learn DA. I have never used it.

When I create a new account/user let's say none.com. When you type in the user name a email account with that name is automatically created. example: I put user name as none, DA sets up an email account with [email protected]. There is no password set for this email. I have tried to login to webmail with this account using the account password that I set but that doesn't work either.

Am I missing something here? It seems as if this is a wasted mailbox?

I am sure I am being really dumb but as I have said I have never used DA before.

For username mailboxes the login name isn't [email protected] but simply none. That should work with the DirectAdmin login password for the account.
