DA not as primary

Hi,
I have a primary server (no with DA, but another panel), running my first 3 NS records:
NS1.MYSERVER.COM
NS2.MYSERVER.COM
NS3.MYSERVER.COM
with hosted clients on it.

on the DA server, I have:
NS4.MYSERVER.COM
NS5.MYSERVER.COM
with some other clients (not overlapping).

should I set something in DA for SERVER.COM in the DNS ZONE?

MYSERVER.COM is not the same as SERVER.COM, so this doesn't make sense to me.

MYSERVER.com is not the same as MYSEVER.COM, so this doesn't make sense to me.

I'm not sure where you got MYSEVER.COM from... this is just a sample domain.
just, consider all NS records for the same DOMAIN.

I've fixed my errors in my post, but what I'm not sure of is if you're referring to two separate domains or one single domain.

What you need to do is have all relevant zone file entries on your nameservers. How you get them there is up to you.

I'm really not sure how this is related to my question.

single domain -> 2 different servers.

but that is exactly my question. specially regarding the second server where I use DA.
how do I add the DNS Zone the appropriate way...?

was my question that weird and not understandable?

I never said, I want to redirect a domain anywhere...

There is no way sanctioned by The Internet Systems Consortium (ISC), developers of BIND, have no sanctioned way for either creating multiple master servers or for setting up domain zones on slave servers. They leave it up to each administrator.

Years ago I paid to have Master2Slave DNS Replicator written to set up zones on slave nameservers; it's open-source and coverred under GPL Version 2. You can read about it by searching these forums, and you can download the beta (it works but there are some errors in the documentation) here (nobaloney.net).

DirectAdmin has written a system (which works only between DirectAdmin powered servers) for replicating across multiple master servers. It's called multi Server Setup and you may search these forums for more information.

Either may work for you.

thanks,
I naively thought this was a very common situation where a company has more than one server...
