Thanks for your reply. Since this is the first time I'm running my own server with DirectAdmin, I'm completely new to this.
Currently I'm still not sure what to choose, FreeBSD or Fedora, but I think I go for Fedora.
Can you tell me what kind of installation you did? I understood you should not install Apache prior installing DA. Please let me know.

Thanks,
Niels

Hello

Im tryng to install DA again, but files.directadmin.com do not resolv, so no install is possible :(

We finished a DA install last night about midnight PDT (-0700), so at that time everything was resolving.

We can resolve files.directadmin.com now but we don't see any files there.

I'm available to respond to any questions that don't require connectivity, and I've contacted DA staff to make sure they're aware of the difficulty.

I just install DA in Fedora 4 and i had to install, exim, vmpop3d, mysql and proftpd manualy.

is this normal ?

Exim apears to be crashed.

In a 1st instalation, all done ok, i dont need to install those services separately.
In a 2nd instalation i had to install those services separately.

In both cases, exim no work fine.

Squirrelmail login return "Error connecting to IMAP server: localhost.
111 : Connection refused"
and via POP3 i cant sent email to outside the server.

How can i fix this ?
