DA reports huge Imap bandwidth usage

Hey everyone,

One of the user accounts on my CentOS box with DA got suspended for bandwidth overusage. After checking his bandwidth details i found out a huge imap bandwidth usage (have a look at the attached image) .
Checked his imap folders nothing out of the common in total about a gig of emails.
My setup is exim, dovecot, spam assassin enabled and clamav on CentOS 6.5 Final.
Has anyone had similar case? Could that be some DA bug, virus, security breach or some weird combination of email client with dovecot ?
Any ideas what could cause that kind of bandwidth are very welcome ?

Look at those daily imap numbers. Is there perhaps a misbehaving IMAP client moving emails down over and over again?
