I know I know, it's all been beat to death but it seems as though there are a lot of responses to SSL related questions with conflicting info.
I have a server running DA and my web page is all phpnuke. What I want to do it create a module in phpnuke to put my Modernbill cart in so it displays in my phpnuke site as a new block. My question is, how do I secure the cart using an SSL cert for my domain. The phpnuke site resides in the public_html folder, but the module, or at least the files for the module w/ sym links in the public_html side (which I need to know how to do also).
This is what I see in the address bar for the module:
http://www.mydomain.com/modules.php?name=Cart
What type of cert do I need to purchase and where is a good cheap place to do so?
How do I set up the sym links with phpnuke to point to the right locations? Would it be better to put my entire site in private_html and have an autoforward point from the public_html side to the secure side?
I guess another good question would be, can I set up modernbill this way to make it all work, or am I living in a fairytale world?
