Hi, new to DA got a question.

in cPanel you had
Admin which created clients and thats it.
they got there email would login info and off they went
getting there site up

Ok in DA you have
Admin, Reseller, User

need to some help understanding the simple steps here
for DA..lol

that link maybe helpfull AFTER the fact but it does not tell you
where you should start it just tells you how to create admins how to create resellers etc.

that link isnt clear about the steps you need to do.

so let me try again.

in cpanel you do this

login to admin back end
click Create new account
Type in domain, user n pass and select package
click OK, done

client gets email with there details and your done

in direct admin it is NOT like this,
so do i create a reseller then create users so they have there own DA access
or do i create resellers or do i create admins then resellers then users

see this DA is not very clear feels like your going in circles

admin account is at the same time admin reseller and user

at reseller level you have to add a package and then you can create user.

user will have their own login data you selected when you create user...

seems to be easy to me but ok maybe ive understand bad what you mean...

Regards

ugh this is soo lame surely im just over looking something
i tryed everything and icant get my domains to resolv

i have 3 domains (and more later) i need hosted (im full root fyi)
1 domain needs its own IP rest can be shared ip.
i have no resellers or users setup so basicly im staring at the admin side
confused all the hell. lol

domain1.com = Dedicated IP
domain2.com = Shared IP
domain3.com = Shared IP

how do i set this up?

admin section ip manage and assign ip to reseller admin

go to reseller level and on ip manage select the additional 2 ip as shared.

add user and assign ip you want he use.

Regards

Which is why you should always tell us the real domain name and the IP#(s) on your server so we can look it up from elsewhere on the 'net.
