DA update fail

I recently tried to update DA from control panel and after a minute i got the following error:

Error restoring file /usr/local/directadmin/update.tar.gz

Any ideas of what may be causing this error?

I was trying to update from 1.233 to 1.234000

I'm guessing there's either the file wasn't created correctly on DAs servers, or it's not being downloaded correctly to your system; you may have a file with an error message in it rather than the actual file.

If you post the file as an attachment to a reply to this thread I'll take a look at it.

I'm having the same problem as this, trying to upgrade. Only I'm not getting any msges about it failing. And its making the update.tar and thats it. It never goes any further then that.

Any suggestions on what I can do to fix this?
 
I figured it out, I guess my server was having trouble downloading the update tar. Its all updated and fixed now, thanks.
