Ok, is this combination okay? A client moved their site to us which was using DADA Mail, so they went to install it via installatron, however, it errored with:
Installing: Error: _errors_script
checked the log and found a warning:
PHP Warning: {/home/xxxxxxx/domains/xxxxxxxx.org.uk/public_html/dada} chmod(): No such file or directory in /var/installatron/cache/te_ecc5e62a83ddff4618ab13bd9396cea5[40] (PHP 5.3.28 Linux) in /usr/local/installatron/lib/boot.php(13178) : eval()'d code on line 189
So, before I contact Installatron themselves, I thought I'd ask here to see if DADA Mail was compatible with a DA configured server.

Thanks

I guess it's more related to Installatron than to DADA Mail or Directadmin. Do you have the directory /var/installatron/cache/? And what are it's permissions?

drwxr-xr-x 2 root staff 94208 Jun 5 17:13 cache

All other software installs ok, so thought I'd ask if it was a compatibility issue.

I now have a ticket with Installatron open, just waiting for a response

Ok, think we found whats what....... as the app is in perl, the correct perl modules were not installed ( DBI::DBD & DBD::mysql)....... like, who still uses perl apps, pfft :)

Amazing. I would never guess it. So DADA mail failed to run and that's why Installatron dropped the error.

By the way here is some info from official site:

Since Dada Mail is a CGI app, you'll need support for Perl CGI scripts within your web server environment.
Dada Mail is not a PHP script, so the version of PHP that you have available will not make much of a difference.
