Hi there,
Due to new legislation in Europe data retention is not going to go away for us HSP/ISPs that are based in Europe. We've very few options here, so we're going to have to look at keeping logs for upto 24 months as per the directives that the legislation contains.
I'm wondering could DA be made to pop a copy of the logs for each user into an admin specified directory.
e.g. /mnt/logs/$month/$week/$user/$day/
Mail logs we can ship off to our SAN so we're not worried about that, it's mostly an issue because DA centrally handles the log rotation itself. Having this as an option would help many companies and I'm sure our counterparts in the US would like this option also.
Thanks,
Paul
