Datatraffic from within PHP

It seems that dataconsumption from within PHP does not count towards the datatraffic limits of DirectAdmin. This could be expensive especially in such cases where users maintain and use large mailinglists.

Is it possible to monitor the datatraffic usage on PHP functions as: mail, fsockopen and curl?

This would help big time.

Currently i'm having lots of datatraffic that i cannot place with a specific user.

Please advise!

Perhaps, there's a sollution.
1. I'd recommend making PHP scripts to run from an user (not apache)
2. As soon as PHP scripts run from user's uid, you can try to count bandwidth with iptables. See link http://serverfault.com/questions/52027/how-can-i-limit-per-user-bandwidth (it's no a link to a solution)
