Debian 5 Install Issue

I've tried twice to install DA and I get upto this point

cp: `/var/www/html/roundcube/logs' and `/var/www/html/roundcubemail-0.2.2/logs' are the same file
cp: `/var/www/html/roundcube/temp' and `/var/www/html/roundcubemail-0.2.2/temp' are the same file
ERROR 2002 (HY000): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (12)

Editing roundcube configuration...
Roundcube 0.2.2 has been installed successfully.

And then it just hangs, after exiting out of it I try to ping files.directadmin.com but get no reply but before I did install I could fine.

In fact I can't ping to anything from the server at all?
 
Is mysql running?

If it isnt you need to start it.

If not you can search the forum for results.
 
Hi

I don't think it makes any difference as even if it was started the DA install would still be incomplete.
 
Not if its trying to install roundcube..................................................
