Hello.

I use Directadmin on the latest Debian system.

There've been problems with services going down and using up all RAM and they end up shutting down your websites 4-5 times a day randomly and they auto-start by itself so you possible won't come to know about it.

I've talked to DA Support too but everything has failed. It could be a problem with Hardware libraries so to all those who use Directadmin on Debian please see this message:

If your using Directadmin ( Default ) on Debian please give me your website address, a sitemap and if possible an IP/server-status page .

I will use it to send certain requests to your website URL's and see if your services crash or not. It would be good if your system does not block multiple requests from a Single IP. This would help me in reaching a solution for mine and your's system.

This maybe a possible bug somewhere and it would help you too in the long run if it is. Please help in solving and either post the Info here or PM me if you don't feel safe.

Ok I've now tried this on Directadmin's own URL of a website and it has crashed sadly. This maybe leading somewhere.

Please give your URL's too. We need a solution.

That is not a Directadmin's issue. Directadmin is a control panel, that allows to use 3rd party software to manage shared hosting.

If you think, that it is Debian's issue, you'd better visit Dibian's forum or mailing list.

With your "evil" tool, it's possible in some certain cases to crash any other server, powered by CentOS/Debian/FreeBSD and doesn't matter what control panel is used on it, until a specific CP doesn't suggest using any anti DDOS software.

Any Apache with bad configuration can be crashed. And according to mine experience overloaded Apache is one of the main causes, why a box crashes.

Directadmin itself does not defend against DOS/DDOS attacks. That's why apache with default configs in many cases is vulnerable to HTTP-flood and DOS/DDOS attacks.

Yea I know that .

It's not a Directadmin related issue but I'm just asking here if someone can give me the information requested.

Because then I'd be sure that we 2 have the same config and settings.

One is crashing and the other one is not. Or perhaps both are crashing.

I'm just carrying out the tests because if a default config is crashing, then many people I believe to have a default one.
