Hello,

When DirectAdmin creates a zone, it adds root.domain.tld as the SOA mail address.

Is it possible to change this default to something else.

By the way. Not strictly DNS related. When creating a domain, I need the server to start accepting mail to [email protected] , otherwise the domain registration checking script fails. What would be the way to achieve that postmaster@ and abuse@ automatically gets accepted by server - and delivered to the sytem admins?

Find the template directory in the /usr/local/directadmin path. Find the template that manages this and copy it to custom. Then change it as you'd like.

Make a site for the domain and add the addresses either as mailboxes or forwards.
