hi, i would like to ask your help in this scenario :

one customer has a domain name : www.example.com with the username example.
he buys a second domain name : www.example2.com

my customer needs to keep the first domain name until its expiration.
the system has created the [email protected] and the [email protected] both with the login example.

when i tried to delete the email account [email protected] in order to make a forwarder from [email protected] to [email protected] i got the message :


Unable to delete the main email account

Details

You cannot delete the account example because it is linked to your system account


how can i move all the default settings to the new domain so in time to delete the entire domain example.com ?

I'm presuming that both domains will have both the same email address and the same content. Is that correct?

The username is always going to be example.

Change the domain name from example.com to example2.com.

Then create an alias; alias example.com to example2.com.

Then when example.com expires, delete the alias.
