Delete backup on remote ftp before backup

Is it possible to delete the remote backup on the server before backing up over the top? or something like that? Or will i manually have to do it?

Is it possible? Yes, as the ftp protocol includes the necessary commands.

Has DA implemented it? I don't think so.

Indeed. Specified how long you wish to go back though. I'm not really planning on SAN solutions for my backups

Yeah eve the ability to keep multiple copys of date ranges specified, each week or so forth.

But basically i just need a delete before save to remote option on the ftp server
