Every host is different. We do automated backups of all accounts and databases daily, and restore everything free of charge for our users. It may be different in your case, so consult your admin to find out. Don't you have your own copies of the files saved on your hard drive?

Hello,
i think this is a little problem!some company should pay money for thsi and some company should not pay for do this!
you can create public_html folder manally..(i think)if you delete public_html folder in filemanager/public_html you can create it again and change permission to 777...and if you can delete public_html folder in /domains/yourdomain.tld/public_html i think you can creat manually, too and change permission to 755
you can test it...
but you can get help from experienced user and directadmin support i think they can help you better.
Special Thanks
Bye

Restore everything free of charge man you must be nice to do that.

I don't think that it´s so easy, the public_html folder isn't a symbolik link?

Right, I probably shouldn't have made an assumption. It seemed like the OP deleted the actual folder since he mentioned the files are gone, whereas if he deleted the symbolic link the files would still be there (though he would get a 404 error if he tried to browse to the site, of course).

If I were the user I'd do the following in the shell:

ln -s ./domains/domain.com/public_html ./public_html

Of course, he may not have shell access.
