demo_user account question

i have some software that i would like to run in a demo mode.
is it possible to mock up the demo_user account so a person could log into the demo_user account and see the files installed on that account...then they also would be able to use some of the programs that are installed...all done with the demo_user account.
is this possible?

Probably not.

The demo_user account is not a an account at all; it's a hardwired way of running DA, coded right into the compiled DA system.

hmmm, ok.

so, if I am going to have a demo account to run demo applications, I should disable the demo mode in the DA panel and use a real demo account? I need this because I want to enable a website building tool and it would be helpful to see the functionality and to see the files in the DA filemanager.
Any suggestions to best do this?
