When you open the list of mail accounts and you move with the mouse pointer over an account you'll see information about the mailbox: "Imap: 69.4 MB Webmail 372KB"

What is the difference between imap and webmail and why don't they have the same size?
I use Squirrelmail as webmail client if that matters.
Once I'm logged in I have several folders with over a 100 mails. The size of the webmail (372 KB) doens't match all the mails. Can anybody explain this?

Because folders besides inbox are checked. Sent, Trash, ... etc

find /home/user/imap -type f

@scsi, What do you mean?
I have a reseller-account and I can't use the command line

My guess is that imap is checking the entire imap structure for space used where as webmail is only checking the usage in the webmail maybe custom folders and stuff that is not part of imap. Only directadmin support can give a definate answer.

@question,

Actually for a reseller on a server using DirectAdmin, the support should come from your hosting company.
