Try resetting the ticket system.

You'll need to login as root to do this.

So let me ask.
What are you expecting?

The only way to gain access to a linux server when you've lost the password is to boot in either single-usre mode or using a restore CD, and once in, change the password.

You can't do either over the network, unless your system redirects boot I/O to your foreign system.

I don't know how to do it on a FreeBSD server.
