Starting DirectAdmin: /bin/bash: /usr/local/directadmin/directadmin: /lib/ld-linux.so.2: bad ELF interpreter: No such file or directory

DA stopped working after updating it to a latest version.

how to solve this problem?
OS: CentOS 6 64bit

I managed to fix it by yum install glibc.i686
but again Starting DirectAdmin: /usr/local/directadmin/directadmin: error while loading shared libraries: libssl.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

my server having datacenter license. last night server was under heavy load due to dataskq then i updated DA to latest version . after the update DA went down. DA always a PAIN to use.

Mah, is a pain when is not-well-used i suppose.. the error you're having is usually license related.

DC may have license, but doenst mean they didnt change it to another OS by mistake.. Also, DC license doesnt exist at all as "type of license".

So, agian, ask you DC to check your license to fit your OS.

Regards

I see, so you mean internal licensing, but.. that's not your issue.. have you asked you DC to check the license's OS?

Regards

yes.
they said License was issued for CentOS5 32bit. But mine CentOS 6 64bit so i asked them to change to CentOS 6 64bit. they again replied me with confirmation that OS changed.
Now i don't know what to do.i get the same error again.

Just a quick addition: The ELF error is caused when a 32-bit binary is tried on a 64-bit processor. Joe must have made a mistake, and given you the wrong license. Changing the license isn't enough, as Alex noted. You must also manually update to get the new object files loaded on your system.

but we have CentOS6 64bit on this new machine since last june ,updated DA manytimes, did not had any issues. i think directadmin did something with new version.

after the DA update,my server timezone got changed to CST from IST,it is supposed to be unchanged right?

I think that most probably the DC has changed the OS assigned to license.. dont see any reason to change OS on DA side..maybe they used for install another server... cant know..

But definitly wanst an issue on directadmin itself.

I'd already made user update his license manually and that worked (after the DC set did the correct OS)
