So.. When will we see a directadmin 2? At one point I thought we would see an update for directadmin before cpanel, but it seems cpanel is more up to date then directadmin is now days.

Would be nice to see many more options added and a nice user interface.

Everything WHM/cPanel has with a better interface ;)

Since I do not use Cpanel I do not know what options it has that DA does not have.

I do however thing that DA already has a better interface than Cpanel.

From my perspective the whole point of using DirectAdmin is because it is NOT Cpanel. If it were like Cpanel I may as well use Cpanel.

Some people like Honda and some like BMW. The owners of each do not want their car to be like the other.

So with that in mind what options would you like to see in DirectAdmin?

Yuck, Honda ... ;)

I've used cPanel and I was so glad when I switched to DA four years ago. I really feel DA has improved significantly over the years and I'm pretty sure any suggestions you have would be taken into account if you submit them.

Any word on when directadmin 2 will be released as it's been talked about since 2004!

Ruby on Rails manager would be nice, like cpanel has. DirectAdmin has this option from a 3rd party. But, who wants to spend money on 3rd party plugin that might not be supported later on or for directadmin to add this plugin themself?

First stop comparing DA to cpanel. If you want something like cpanel then use cpanel. The whole idea of using DA is to use something that is NOT cpanel or even like cpanel.

Whatever features you would like to see put them in the feature request section.

Yes, but by whom? By any staff members of JBMC? (JBMC is the company that produces and distributes DirectAdmin.)
