DirectAdmin and Apache2 problem

I'm using Debian which has the capability to use either apache 1.3 or apache 2...
apache1.3's conf file is located in /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf, the apache 2 conf file is located in /etc/apache2/apache2.conf.

By default Directadmin uses Apache1.3 and after hours of banging my head on the wall trying to get it to work I finally figured out it in it's current state it ONLY works with Apache 1.3.

How do I get it to work with Apache 2 instead?

Thanks

Check out

/usr/local/directadmin/customapache/build

That script has all the apache 2 stuff. Keep in mind DA's current configuration installs 2.0.58 which is not that great. I have successfully install 2.2 and I assume 2.3 would be much the same. You just need to download the source before you install and edit the build script. Keeping in mind I am sure this voids any official support from DA's staff.
