Okay... Here's what I'm trying to do. I own e x t r a 6 [dot] c o m which is going to be my hosting company site and I own m o n e y t i m e [dot] c a which is a site that I have for work. (I'm typing them like that because I don't want them indexed by google)

Anyways... I'm trying to setup both sites under the same admin account. Currently, I have SSL working with a static IP (on the second site), but I had to do a little hacking into some of the conf files to get it to work. In order to get it working, I had to setup that site as the default site.

The problem is that I really want the first site as the default but they both need to use SSL certs. Now, I can assign an IP to a user (admin) but I can't see how to assign a static IP to a domain. The only way I can think of getting it to work would be to manually edit the DNS zone.

Can anyone please tell me how I need to set this up?

In order to have an SSL cert on both domains, each domain will have to be owned by a different user in DA. DA assigns IPs at the user level and not at the domain level. Yes, I know, this is not optimal but that's the way it is. A request has been put into the DA development team to change this, but I'm not sure if it's going to happen or not. So, the only option at this point is to create a new user and move one of the domains to that new user, assign the user a dedicated IP for the domain, and then install the SSL cert for the domain. Hope this helps.

Is there a way that I might be able to write a plugin for DA or something that will assign IP's at the user level?? Just a thought.

Thanks for helping me with this!

Does I've already setup my site m o n e y t i m e [dot] c a as the main admin account.

If I create a reseller account for the e x t r a 6 [dot] c o m site, do you think that it would be okay, even for selling reseller accounts? Or, does that HAVE to be done by the main admin account?

I might be wrong here, but you should be able to just create a new user account for this domain from the admin account. Then, whenever you want to add resellers, just add the new resellers from the admin account as well. However, I'm willing to be told that there might be a better way. :)
