DirectAdmin Backups

Dear,

I have a question about the DirectAdmin backups.
At 'Admin level' i go to 'Admin Backup/Transfer'.

What i want to do is make a backup of all users, websites, SQL databases etc. every day.
So i made this work but now i encounter a problem.

It always overwrites the previous backup!

I want to create about 10 backups before deleting the oldest one.

Does anyone know if this is possible?

You have to use post script, in particular the post backup one.

This may help you on giving the backups filename a date: http://help.directadmin.com/item.php?id=454

You can also work on that script to fit your needs.

Hello,

When creating a new backup or editing an existing one check a section "Step 3: Where". There you should see "Append to path". To have 7 backups for each weekday you should select to append "Day of Week".

The backups being created in the /Friday map.
How can i restore them if i want to?
